Virginia Church Furniture, Inc. can upholster your pews with our ergonomically correct Lumbar Supported Back. The back is upholstered in 1 1/2" thick virgin polyfoam designed to provide high quality luxury seating.

Tacking strip at cap rail to assure the back upholstery is in a perfectly straight line.
We use virgin polyurethane foam for our cushioning material (1" or 2" for back and 2" or 3" for seat); density = 2.0 with 55 lb. compression ratio.
Polyurethane will retain its elasticity, is non-absorbent & is non-allergenic. This is the same cushioning material, Superfoam©, used in the manufacturing of new pews.
100% nylon and Designer Olefin treated fabrics. Same fabrics used by most pew manufacturers.
Tacking strip back on each end allows us to stretch fabric both vertically and horizontally to prevent wrinkles.
Waterfall effect at front of pew is more comfortable & retains appearance for many years. We do this with a special stretching tool that will give a smooth appearance & guaranteed no-wrinkle upholstering.
We tuck fabric well under the bottom and apply at least two rows of staples to prevent the fabric from working loose.
No uncomfortable upholstery buttons that will eventually break loose.
